I am 2 weeks new to Skytrak and TGC and having a lot of fun. I originally purchased a used projector and now realize the lumens were not bright enough. After researching on the forum I decided to get the BenQTH1ST. I have a 10 x 10 screen and according to Projector Central i should mount the projector 10' back. My question is setting things up for a 4:3 Aspect. I am confused on exactly where to do this. With the projector i am using now when i originally loaded just the Skytrak i changed the resolution setting on my PC to 1280 x 800 which seemed to be the closest to 4:3 so it fit the screen. The downside is it makes the pictrure smaller on my PC. When i loaded the TGC it asks you to set a resolution. So my questions are:
1. Do i need to change the resolution on the PC or should i leave it at the Recommended 1600 x 900?
2. What screen resolution do i set in the TGC program when it asks?
3. Do i do any or none of the above and change the Aspect ration to 4:3 on the projector? ( there is a note in manual saying that changing the aspect ration depends on the input signal source) I plan on using an HDMI unless another way is better?
I get my new projector Friday and hope to set it up right the first time.
