Should I buy a used NEC NP-M300XS Short Throw Projector for $140 with a new lamp and new filter?

Complete newb, this is for a budget golf simulator. I'm not concerned with image quality too much, just need a short throw on a budget.

Would you recommend a different model? The reason the NEC m300xs looks appealing to me is that is has a new replacement lamp and filter in it.

I appreciate the help. I'd love to keep it under $150.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

It seems like the mounting distance might be too close, but it depends on your screen size and hitting distance.

My plan is to get a 8x8 carls standard screen and hit from a distance of 6-8 feet.

I believe I could place the projcector at 3-4 feet and be ok?
