Projector ceiling height questions

Hi Guys,

Just in the process of starting my garage build and looking at a projector. The one question I'm having is I have about 16-18' foot ceilings at the top of my garage. Is there any other way to mount a projector? I have read that a floor mount is an option but much pricer?

I have an idea of a few short projectors to buy, just wondering if there is another way without large extensions.

I suspect you are either going to mount to wall or ceiling and use extension poles...they make some that extend over 6 feet so your height shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, well ceiling, wall or floor really. I don't know too much about projectors placememt really... But wanted to figure it out before I order my screen. I was just trying to avoid purchasing a ladder tall enough to get to the high ceiling for the extension, but looks like thats the route I will need to go.

I could mount to a side wall, but I believe it's need to me mounted in the center? I could perhaps go with a non short throw but suspect there may be shadows.
