Anyone upgrade from Optoma GT1080 to 1080HDR?

I'm looking for something a little brighter in ambient lighting, just wondering if anyone has made this switch and noticed a big difference thanks to the 1000 extra lumens it provides?

or can anyone reccomend a very bright short throw to use in 4:3 mode for golf sim only... I won't ever use it for anything else so even an older very high lumen projector could work

I have the optoma GT1080DARBEE and I think that is 3000 lumens. And with the lights on the picture is still good. Here is a picture of with lights on and off. So I would have to imagine 3800 lumens would be even nicer.

looks good, thanks for the pics... mine is so washed out unless the lights are completely off
