Was fumbling around trying to adjust my projector settings to tweak the image on my Panasonic and stumbled across a pretty good app that made things much easier for me and did not require me to pull out on of my old calibration dvds. The app is free and is called THX tune-up and was simple to use and the results were pretty good. Saved me a bunch of time tinkering that is for sure.

It is an app. I found it for iOS, but suspect that they would have one for Android. I hooked my iPhone up to my projector via HDMI.

Does your projector not have a remote? I just unplugged my hdmi cable from my computer and hooked into my "Lightning Digital AV Adapter".Originally posted by Solstice72 View PostI'll guess I'll get on a ladder to do that?

Ok yes. Thanks. On Android this has like a 1.7 review hopefully there's no trojan horse or something but I've been looking for something like this so I'm going to give it a try

I read through the reviews on the IOS version for where it gets 2.7 stars and note that most of the bad reviews were not an issue for me at all. I went it to this knowing that I was not going to get professional calibration, but I was really just not happy with my image for the golf sim out of the box and knew it needed tweaking. I tried a few different settings that made it worse and was getting ready to spend a few hours working through things to get something that works; however, after spending some time with this app, I managed to get a much better picture. The only area where I was not completed satisfied was on the contrast setting. Got something pretty close, but could not get it to where I was hoping. However, the overall result was something that I was very happy with.
