So i am starting a simulator build and my wife already had an epson 660 projector which I think is only 4:3 ratio It’s a very entry model I know. if the projector ratio is 4:3 but my screen on my desktop is 16:9 would the projector automatically turn it into 4:3 ratio?

According to projector central, the Epson 660 also has a 16:9 option. So you could do either 4:3 or 16:9 (if that is indeed the case).
