Help with Deciding what Projector I should buy

So my space is 24ft deep and 18ft wide with 12 to 15ft ceiling.... Not sure on the ceiling yet but leaning towards 12 because 15 is overkill... I am building the sim in my pole barn so I have a lot of flexibility. I recently purchased the Flight Scope Mevo + "just waiting for it to arrive" and I am going to run the software off from the new iPad Pro I purchased... With that said what project do you guys think will work the best for me and be able to connect to the iPad Pro... Any help would be fantastic! Thanks in advance....

You should be able to connect any projector to the iPad. You will just need to buy Apple's HDMI adapter. One thing to note is to make sure to get a projector with speakers as the iPads don't seem capable of playing the audio themselves while sending the image to the projector (at least in my experience).

You'll want a short throw projector, so something that you can mount within 10 feet or so of the screen. Learn how to use the throw calculator at projector central and go from there.

Thanks for the information and the link.... I am thinking that I will be 10-12 feet back because I think that is what the Mevo + requires, should I be concerned at all about the projector being about 10 and above me or no because obviously 12 foot ceiling I will have absolutely no issue...? Thanks again for your help.

You shouldn't have an issue with 12 foot ceilings. And putting the projector right above you is actually a safe spot because you will be swinging around it. Place the projector right over the ball and you'll never hit it, especially with those nice high ceilings.
Working...
