So you can probably get away with putting one behind you and installing it really high up. But then again, it sounds like the unit sensor will be in the way of anything higher than 9.5 feet? How are other Uneekor users doing it with their projectors? How low does the unit hang down from the ceiling?
The new Uneekor, EYE XO, must have the cams and sensors 3.5' in front of the golfer (a great place to have put the projector). This is my first attempt at a sim system and worried that if I go behind the EYE XO, towards the golfer, that I could hit the projector. Not so much worried about me as others that could be taller. May not be an issue but just don't know. This is why I wanted behind the golfer, which is at 10'.

I know I can't go too far back due to the shadowing but not sure what else to do. Uneekor is not in the projector business and they don't really want to help with this although it is a technical setup issue. I did confirm with Uneekor that the projector cutting across the cameras/sensors is not an issue.

Since this is a brand new product, to the U.S., I don't think there are many installed. When I asked for someone to talk to I could only get QED players.

I have seen many people on you tube with the projector behind and the XO in front with no shadows and no interference from the XO.
golf simulator on you tube is one of those

Thanks! Actually just got off the phone with Uneekor and they did install theirs with a standard throw from behind the golfer w/o a shadow issue. I just can't get through my head how big the projection cone gets in 3'-4' to know if I will cast a shadow. It seems to me that, if nothing else, the club would be in the way during the backswing and follow through. I will go and look again on Youtube and see what I can find. Turns out there is a guy in San Antonio, TX, about an hour from me that has installed the XO so going to check it out with him. Already been to his place to see the QED.

I just hope that I can get my projector this week (ordered) as I am ready to hit some balls!

Any update on the 1090 and the Eye xo? I am looking to install the exact same combo on a 10'3" ceiling. Curious what height you mounted the 1090 assuming you put the Eye xo at 10'. I am trying to get a 9ft high screen filled on a 16:10 ratio and it feels like it is all going to be a tight fit.
