  • View sonic projector?

I’m trying to decide on a projector. I have seen the view sonic projectors and like the PS600X. I was planning on floor mounting but not opposed to ceiling mount. My reason for floor mount is portability as my space is in my garage and I may need to move it for various reasons. Has anyone had any experience with view sonic?

I could consider ceiling mount of a Ben q or optima but I am not sure. I thought I read where ceiling mount interferes with mevo plus some?

also, my screen size is 4:3 ratio. Is it better to get beat projector I can afford regardless of ratio or get a projector that matches native ratio of screen?

    appreciate any insight. Thanks

Projectors that are 4:3 native are hard to come by (and expensive) unless they are lower resolution. With a 4:3 setup you're basically limited to getting a projector with a native of 16:9 that is capable of running 4:3 (I'm in the same boat).

I’m also trying to decide on a projector with a screen ratio 4:3. The View Sonic PS600X looks interesting. $699, Native 4:3, 3500 lumens, Vert and Hor keystone adjustable which I believe would allow it to work floor mounted and offset to the side if needed. Also a short throw of .61.

That projector is only a 1024x768 resolution. That's going to be a lower resolution than what you'll get using a 1920x1080 projector and converting to 4:3. If you want a 1024x768 projector with a similar throw ratio I have one I'll sell you for $150.
