i have the 12x9 screen with enclosure from sky track. I have the Optoma eh412st and if Im reading it right the projector needs to be back 8 ft and 17" above screen. Wont the enclosure get in the way? I put it on floor and the bottom of projection is about a foot up the screen. Any help would be appreciated.

I have similar concern . I have a optoma gt1080 hdr that is going to project on to a screen that is 91 inches high and 110 wide. I set the ceiling projector at 6’-9” from where the screen will be located and I’m awaiting my screen enclosure that will be 10 feet wide by 8 feet high and a depth of either 3 or 4 feet. According to my calculations I will need to set the video card resolution to 1302x1080 to fill the entire screen. According to projector central calculations the offset from the lens is 13 inches and I used a low profile ceiling mount which brings the center of the lens approximately 4 inches from the ceiling. My concern is the same as yours in that the depth of the enclosure at either 3 ft or 4 ft will block the top portion of the projection. I’m not overly familiar with what exactly the offset is but I think it means that the top of the picture will be about 17 inches from the ceiling (13 inch offset plus 4 inch from ceiling to center of lens). Before I cut the pipe to build the enclosure I would like some advice. I should be getting the fittings to build the enclosure next week some time.

Hopefully it works out with your final placement but this could be a solution too: https://rainorshinegolf.com/products/swingshield-projector-floor-mount-enclosure

Joe M and Lgreenough - I ran into this same issue a few weeks ago and I don't have any great suggestions for you. I have a carls enclosure that comes out 5' and I was able make the front edge of the enclosure a little higher to help. I didn't have to cut the EMT longer. I just didn't put the emt all the way to the end of the connector. Your enclosure fabric is only so big so you will be limited by that. I'm a little lucky in that my enclosure is 16:10 and running 16:9 resolution allows me to put the image a little lower on the screen (top 10" is black). Perhaps you can mount your projector a little lower and tilt upward with some keystone corrections? I don't know much about that so maybe that's not an option. Lgreenough I haven't explored the offset solution - not sure if that will help you or not - sorry.
I could have made it work, but I elected to swap out my Optoma 1090 for a longer throw projector so I won't have this issue anymore (and for other reasons, too).
Hopefully someone else can offer better suggestions.
