Optoma GT1090HDR zoom ?

Hello all,

I have a question about the GT1090 HDR projector. On projectorcentral.com, I cant use any zoom to adjust projector position. On the manufacturer documentation, I can read however a 0,8-2x digital zoom ...

I know lot of people here use this projector, can you tell me if we can use a small zoom to adjust for few centimeters the projector position please ?

Projector central would reference optical zoom (i.e. the ability to make the entire picture bigger or smaller). What you are reading is digital zoom which centers in on a specific spot of the image to make it larger in a certain area of the picture (generally center ice) - which in turn spills the balance of the picture outside of the displayed area.

Optical zoom is a lens function & makes picture larger or smaller.
Digital Zoom stretches the same picture to enlarge the center.
