  • GARAGE Golf Sim Project (Projector Box)

here So I am currently just wrapping up by Garage build. However, I am using foam balls right now. (Afraid to use real balls due to the location of the projector at the time) lol. So I am wanting to construct one a box for it, any help would greatly be appreciated. (I have already ordered the fans from Amazon and plan to go to Homedepot over the weekend to buy the wood in order to put this together. (Wish me luck) lol

Nice build. Do you work for dewalt? LOL. If you do build a box make sure you wrap it with something like memory foam so a ball doesn't shoot back.

I think that wire basket from Amazon I saw on another thread is one of the best ideas I've seen for that application. Super easy, cheap and works! Also allows airflow to be essentially unrestricted which would be my major concern with any other more solid box.

Supraracer hahah I am actually an authorized distributor for them. Feel free to check out my company's site. www.maxtool.com lol. Thanks for the heads up. I ended up making a projector box frame from plywood and used carpet padding I had left over from the stance pad I made.

jasonreg Thanks for the advise, I ended up going to Home depot buying some plywood and pexi glass and making one. (Total in materials was about $50) I didnt do the best job in wrapping it with the turf.. but it will have to do for now. lol

Look great. I suppose with your offset you won't hit that projector box much.
