Hi, new garage setup and using the mentioned Optoma projector. My screen is 4:3. My question, there are LOTS of settings on this thing in the display mode screen. How do I know what to set it up as? Does anyone have suggestions? Should I use HDR, Gane, Vivid? Just curious what others have done to save lots of trial and error. Thanks!

I have that one. It's pretty easy. I also use mine in 4:3. First is to select the proper resolution on your PC. I can't remember which one I chose. I basically went through almost every option until the image fit the screen. Once you've got your image filling most of your screen you can adjust the image. Keystone might help. I think vertical image shift. I believe I use game, as it is the most vivid.
Once I installed reshade a few weeks ago, the image seemed a bit darker so I went in and boosted up the brightness. Have fun experimenting.

I have this projector as well and as previous poster said, you just have to play around with the settings until it looks the way you want. I was using it with iPad in “native” mode. I also have quite a bit of keystone adjustment on it, but that might be specific to my setup.
