I have my projector currently set up at 16:9 and have an Epson 5040 UB projector that works great for watching games/movies. I just built a screen/cage that has the following specs. It is about 105” high and 116” wide. My projector is mounted 12 feet from the screen on the ceiling, 10 foot ceilings. It works ok for golf sim but obviously doesn’t fill the screen with the new screen setup. Is there a projector at 4:3 that would be able to be mounted at 12 feet away and fill most of the screen from top to bottom? If it’s easy to toggle from 16:9 for watching games to 4:3 for golf sim I may use it only and get rid of my current projector. I’ve tried looking at projector central but a lot of them want me to mount it much closer to the screen than the 12 foot I have the projector box built at on the ceiling. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Do you have any room to move the 5040 back a bit? I tried mine in my sim, before moving it to the theatre, at about 18 feet and really liked the image. -

Having the same issue order a low throw projector and use the calc/ lookup above to ensure it covers as much screen as possible
