Hello new the forum it is awesome all the help in here. Just want to know if anyone has any experience with projector floor mounts and what are my options there or are the ceiling mounted ones better? Appreciate any input.

I ended up building my own due to cost, but there is a pretty standard option to buy that's around $300 called SwingShield or ProGuard.... i just have it on the floor about 2 feet in front of my front foot and it works perfect... -

I have this one, its all metal and I've covered it with some left over turf. Works fine for me as I have an outdoor setup and fits my Optoma GT1080HDR.Comment

What's your ceiling height or other restrictions? I would only advise a floor mount if truly necessary because of space limitations. If you can do ceiling, do ceiling.Comment

I only have 9 foot ceiling plenty of length and width but short on the height luckily me and my friends are short...

If you have enough width to hit from the center, mount the projector above the ball. It's honestly the best place for it to be. It won't get hit with any clubs or balls, it won't cast shadows on the screen and it won't be in your way for putting or for walking up to the screen to gather balls. Find one with a very short vertical offset (look at BenQs for that) and mount it flush to the ceiling.Originally posted by ARMYAA View PostComment
