    Optoma 1080/1090 with a 5’ Deep Enclosure

Anyone have pics of their setup with the Optoma 1080/1090, and a 5’ deep enclosure?

Based on the calculator and a 9x12 screen, it should sit 17” above the screen. Problem that I can see (diagram below), is that a good portion of the image will be cut off by the enclosure roof.

what are you guys doing to solve this?

I have a 1080 in my garage and have a 8x4 storage rack above my screen. I know it’s not 5 feet, but at 4 feet none of the picture is blocked out and it’s around 1.5 feet above my screen, if it’s blocked out you might just have to lower it a couple inches

There was thread about this very question yesterday:
      1. Mount the projector lower
      2. Aim at the screen
      3. Correct image size with keystone

I went through this with a 3' deep enclosure... Unfortunately, the only way is to go lower than what is recommended which will result in your projector angles upward and while doing so will require it to be back further than the recommended distance as angling it shrinks the horizontal size. For example in my case(1090hdr) I was am back over a foot further than the recommended distance.

In my case with the 1090 I had to angle my enclosure up slightly
