How far below the ceiling did you have to mount this unit? The installation manual indicates it should be centered to the screen which would be unrealistic

It has 60% vertical lens shift which allows you to mount it high (or low) and shift the lens accordingly. I was hoping he would've talked about that in more detail in the video as I'd be curious to know how high it can actually go.

If you watch the video I show a picture of the installation how I have it off centered and only mounted maybe 6 inches from the ceiling. This has serious vertical and horizontal lens shift along with other great installation features

3on3putt I try to do my best without making the videos a marathon. It's a 60% vertical lines shift which is pretty massive my ceiling is 10 feet tall and I'm out of the projector only about five or 6 inches from the ceiling and it's hitting the floor basically as you can see and I am right there close at max 60%

It has vertical lens shift up to 60% of the image height which should allow for normal ceiling mounting.

Exactly. I have it mounted close to the ceiling which is 10' and lens shift almost maxed out gets it basically bottomed out to the bottom of my screen. Perfect for like 12.5 wide and 8ft tall roughly. I think I might have the projector slightly on a angle up from what I can see too. Must have not noticed that during install usually I aim for level.

Wondering if this projector is 4 k? I am looking to upgrade and kooky for a great projector but for the price tag of this projector I was thinking maybe would be smarter to upgrade to 4K?

I do not believe this is a 4K projector.

1920 x 1200 (WUXGA). Can take a 4K input & great lumen output but not a 4K output.
