Apologies in advance. First time post
used the search function a few different ways and not much on here for this. Projectorcentral and the great tool they have says all the measurements are good for my space.

wondering if I can get anecdotal advice from anyone for this model or opinions on viewsonics in general. I’ll take whatever I can get really. Also aware these are on the lower end of the pricing scale but I got a guy who’s going to give it to me for a 100

No experience with it but as long as it fits your space it should be a decent low-budget option. It has some vertical offset so just make you're taking that into consideration for your ceiling and screen height. It's not super bright, so also make sure you have plenty of control over the lighting in your room.

You may also want to check how many hours are on the bulb and a quick google to make sure you can purchase a replacement bulb easily. You can very quickly add several hundred dollars to your purchase. Projector central also has a bulb life comparison tool if you look for it.
