Projector help

Starting my garage build and trying to learn and choose a projector. My ceiling is 10 ft 3 inches. I ordered a 16 ft wide sportscreen and will get an impact screen soon as well. I’ll be hitting from about 10 feet from screen (mevo plus). My dilemma comes from my garage opener is at about 8 feet from my screen will be, and no I can’t move it. So my projector would have a to be about 8 feet from my screen as well (mounted above garage opener).If I’m standing 10 feet from my screen how large of an image is best. In 16:9 ratio would trying to maximize my width be best? That seems like a large picture for that close, but maybe I’m wrong.
ive been leaning towards the optoma GT1080 HDR, but not sure about the vertical offset.
any help? Suggestions?
