I'm looking for a projector for my simulator right now which will consist of a 10' wide screen and approx. 10' long (retractable one from Par2Pro) and I will be hitting from 9' away. My garage has 11' ceilings and I'll be using an EyeXO.
The popular projectors 1090HDR, 700STi seem to be mounted fairly low when using 16:9 aspect ratio (somewhere in the 6-7' height range based on https://www.projectorcentral.com). This seems very low and it also accounts for the picture being 12" off the floor.
Would I be better off with 4:3 with this screen size or is there another projector in the $1-2k range that you would recommend?
Ideally I would like 4k and 16:9 however if its not possible that's fine since from what I read on here, 16:9 is more important. I was thinking of 4K in hopes of making good used of my 5600x and RTX3080.
Any suggestions would be great!
