I ran across a Youtube video of the presentation for the new BenQ LK936ST. They go over projector trends in the market and the design thoughts behind the BenQ LK936ST. In the Q&A at the end of the video, they explain the differences between the BenQ LK936ST and the BenQ LK953ST. They alluded to the flicker issues with high-speed camera recordings. It seems they are working with Texas Instruments and may provide a firmware update to help mitigate the issue at a later date.
