Laser short throw 1080p projectors

For laser short throw 1080p projectors is there really anything else to consider other than the Optoma GT1090HDR? Screen size is 16 x 9.

The 1090 is the projector I wanted but it was out of stock so I went with the 1080gt. Hopefully a 4K one will come down in price so I can justify the upgrade.

I can't find a 4k projector that mounts at a throw ratio of ~0.50 to fit my use case. I'm currently using Optoma EH412ST but I'm so close to a 200" screen that I'd like it to be a little sharper.

The 1090 certainly looks like a good one.

I'm looking for something similar as well. It is near impossible to find a decent projector with a 0.5 throw ratio or close to it. The Gt1080hdr and 1090 appear to be the only two good options. Anything else that have these type of specs are for presentation use - low brightness, high lag rates, etc.... I was thinking doing the same as you, just go with the 1080 for now.

I love my GT1090 HDR. I looks amazing in full light. I don't play golf in a cave, so this provides a more realistic environment (in my opinion).
