Hello all, long time lurker trying to learn, looking to get advice on projector setup. Setup is in a 2 car detached garage, wanting a 14.5’-15’ X 8.5’-9’ screen with 9.5’ ceilings. After looking at a lot of recommendations, 2 serious consideration is the Optoma 1090hdr at about 7.5 from the screen or the Benq 700sti at around 13’ from the screen. What do you experts say about these 2 options? Hitting area will be the typical 10’-ish from the screen and the lighting will be fairly controlled in the space but never completely dark I think. Also, unless highly recommended, I think 1080p is going to be the current resolution and then maybe upgrade to 4K down the road when that option will be more affordable.
