I'm working on building my entertainment/sim room and am overwhelmed with the projector placement and screen size. Here are the basics of my build:
Room Size: 9'4" height x 14'3" wide x 23'9" long.
Projector: Optoma GT1090HDR Short Throw
I still need to purchase a screen and was considering a 8.5' x 13' Carl's Premium or a D2G Impact Screen. Not sure which one to go with yet. This would give me a 16:10 ratio. It seems to me like if I use a projector calculator, I'm not going to be able to fill up that screen to the top/bottom edges. I think I'm doing something wrong.
Can someone please tell me if I'm going to be able to fill that screen size and if so, how far back from the screen should the projector be placed with a ceiling mount?
