Hi all.
I am getting my simulator bay ready and need to start thinking about how to wire everything up. Attached to this post are my first two ideas (Option 1- Projector as the brains of the operation, Option 2 - using an HDMI splitter). After discussing with a friend, he thought I should probably consider a 3rd option: HDBaseT. I am not super familiar with this protocol, or what hardware/components I would need to add to the setup. I do like the idea of a single CAT5/6 cable running from the projector to my sources (and a single HDMI running to the back of the impact screen to the Sonos ARC.
As you can tell we intend to use this simulator room as multi-use (golf, PS5 games, movies).
Any thoughts or suggestions? What am I missing here?
