Alright I'm sure I'm missing something obvious but why can't you use a cheaper projector with a simulator.

There are some highly rated ones on Amazon for around $200 but it seems everyone recommends ones over $1000.

Throw distance, lumens, and image quality typically. Link one you are referencing.

Give it a shot and report back. The lack of specs makes it hard to know. I do not see a throw ratio and I am very skeptical of the 13,000 lumen figure. But if it works that would be awesome.

EDIT: I found the info in the manual, and the throw ratio would throw shadows for the majority of sims

That makes sense. Looking at the uneekor qed so maybe this one or one similar would work.
