  • Help trying to fill screen

I have a net return pro v2 large 9’ setup. The screen i believe is 130” diagonal. I have a 3080ti card, Optoma zh406st. Went to projector central and it is 4’9” from screen. I am trying to get best resolution to fill my screen. Thank you

1920x1080 is probably your best bet.

Changed projector to 4:3 and it gets closer. But can’t seem to find a good setting to fill the screen.

Move your projector away from the screen a bit, or use the Zoom lever or the Lens Shift ring on the projector. You also have On Screen Menu options to adjust the image size.

Dont think you are going to be able to completely fill that screen without a custom resolution. Using as it is, 4:3 with the projector 6ft away is your best bet, that will give you 9ft wide and 6.9ft high.

I dont think i have a zoom, only focus ring. I will try and move it 6’ away and see if that helps. I thought i could do it with a custom resolution but guess not. Maybe i should email net return and see if they have had someone get it close. Thank you for all the replies.

If you have an Nvidia GPU you most certainly can use a custom resolution but it will not fix a distance issue with projector placement. Your goal should be to fill the screen vertically (leave the projector at 16:9 for this process) and then set a custom resolution to reduce the width. Also, you should be using 4k resolutions since you have the GPU horsepower and a 4K projector.

My screen will be about 10 high and 11 feet wide, so very close to 1:1 ratio. I know you can use custom settings to do 1080 by 1080, would a 4k resolution be possible with this ratio? I spent about $1,500 on a laptop and projector (671st) and I'm trying to decide if I want to return both and spend more to go 4k. Thank you in
