recommendations for short throw projector under $500

I've got a garage sim setup and looking for recommendations on projectors - will have to be ceiling mounted 7' from screen. Thanks for input and recommendations.

You can find a used Optima 1080HDR in that price range. 3800 lumens, .50 throw. Probably about as good as you can do for that kind of money I think.

Agreed. The 1080HDR is your best bet for that price range.
