  • How are you getting your golf simulator picture to your projector and monitor?

I am currently using a Xtreme HDMI splitter to accomplish this. Sure wish these high priced Video cards would come with 2 HDMI ports and then it would be easy! There seems to be 1 HDMI and 3 other video type ports on my Nivida 3080, not sure what configuration they are or if I can use one of them to get picture to TV screen. I plan on getting a new 4K projector soon and will want to be projecting 4K to projector and to tv screen. My tv right now is not 4K will be upgrading that also so I know I will be able to project 4K to all. I have heard of mirroring the screen, I have heard of wireless.
What is the best way to accomplish this task? I do occasionally use the computer and tv for just that and not play golf, so if I would not be using the projector I really don't want to have to change any settings. But if I was using the projector and playing golf I would always be using the tv monitor.
Please let me know how and the best way to do this!

Those are display ports. You just need a display port to hdmi converter and then run your hdmi cord from that to the TV or projector. I think the 3080 supports 4 screens so there should be 4 ports total. The little converters are like $10 on amazon.

I run an HDMI to my AVR, then AVR to projector. 3080Ti card, 8k capable AVR, 4k projector. 8k HDMI’s in the wall/ceiling so it is future proof.

I run HDMI direct to the projector for the main display. I use a second port (Display Port to my touch screen). And I use a 3rd port (also display port with Display to HDMI converter) to my AVR. From there I can extend the display to a third monitor mounted in my sim area or to the main TV in our viewing area. I use Zone 2 to port the display to the 3rd panel so I can actually watch different things on the main TV and on the 3rd panel - useful when I am using my swing cameras.

Bottom line, many options depending on your needs/desires. For me - I 'needed' to be able to play golf in Sim area, control golf off of touch display, watch either Golf Channel or Swing Cameras in Sim area on 3rd panel and watch whatever in the TV viewing area all at the same time.

Honest - it was a true 'need'

OMG I think you lost ME at the 3rd port! No I got it! I guess I just didn't know the other 3 extra ports on the video card could be used! I picked dup the lil dongle from Dp to HDMI and I'm all set. Like I said I was using a splitter previously, it worked but was just projecting 1080 not 4K, and was not sure when I did get all the parts for 4K if that would be a bottleneck. Thank you for your feed back! I get it! NEEDS! I needed a new kick ass computer! for 4K and a new 4K projector! So the trees and grass look better! Damn I'm sure hoping it looks drop dead gorgeous! will see next week or when ever I pick and order a projector.
