So I own a golf academy and recently my optima 1080 took a dive,. So I have the opportunity to buy an optoma BenQ MX816St 150.00 or a optoma HD141X 1080p 3D DPL for 250. I guess my question is which one should I go with I'm concerned about the HD141x because of maybe casting shadows I have a 25 ft long 20 ft wide simulator room screen is on the right side 12 ft wide ceilings are about nine feet high
Hitting distance to the screen is around 12 ft, screen size is roughly 11.2 ft wide and 8 ft high. Right now projector says directly above hitting area however I can move it back and offset it I have 25 ft so I'm at a throw distance of around 10 ft now with my old optima 1080 I can move the distance back to 23 to 24 ft respectively. Opinions on which projector I should go with I'd appreciate it and if I go with the HD 141 it's not short throw do you think it will cast shadows at a hitting area of 11 ft If I move it back to 20 ft. I know everybody says simple math but if somebody could figure that out for me I would love you and appreciate you
