I just had the unfortunate occurrence of hitting my projector (BenQ671ST) with a club on an awkward swing. Sad to say, this isn't the first time this has happened, but every other time the image goes out upon contact, but resets eventually. This time, the image immediately went out but now the projector won't turn back on. The indicator lights on the projector control panel are: off for power, solid green for temp, and solid red for lamp.
I'm wondering if it's worth trying out a new lamp, or if there is a way to diagnose if the damage is beyond the lamp at this point. Anyone else have a similar experience?
