  • Projector help!

I habe been researching projectors for about a week now and truly I am just more confused. I have been on projector central a ton and see lots of options. I just don't know what to go with and really need some help from people that know about these things.

    My set up details are:
screen size- 9.5 feet tall by 15.5 wide premium screen

    Launch monitor- eyexo

Hitting area is 9.5-11 feet. (This is a little flexible)

    Ceiling height is 117 inches.

There are two French doors and 4 windows in the room, so ambient light control is not the easiest but possible with blackout curtains. This has probably been the one factor that is causing me the biggest issue, I want to make sure I have a good picture that is not washed out. I am fine with either lazer or bulb options. Of course 4k would be best, but I am fine with HD as well. I do have a very nice gaming PC with a 4070ti to run GS pro. I would like to stay $2500 or under unless there is not a really strong option. I could go up to $4500 if I had to but would like to stay under $2500.

What do you think are my best options?

This one seems to be the best for very bright and amazing picture quality, but its pretty expensive.

I have this one but you need a deep room to make it work. Picture is fine, nice and sharp but at max bright it washes out a bit.

This one looks good in videos and I think more of its output is usable then mine.

You should put effort into eliminating ambient light. Even a little bit is going to affect the picture quality. Pay attention to the offset and distance you need to put the projector from the screen. Having vertical offset is very helpful if not mandatory. Avoiding using keystone will get you better picture. Good luck, this was a tough one in my sim as well.

I have been looking at the 700sti, my only concern is if it will be bright enough with only 3000 lumens. I shouldn't really have mounting issues as I can mount whatever I go with from 7.5 feet to 15-16ish feet on the center line over head. Just have to be careful about shadows.

      Anyone else have input?
