Aspect ratio help

Hey everyone. I have an epson home cinema 880 and a 9x10 foot enclosure. Any recs on how to maximize screen usage? I’m currently at a 16:9 aspect ratio but I have significant bars both below and above the image. Should I go 4:3? I feel like my projectors native setting is 16:9 and worried that resolution will suffer. Thanks!

Your bay / screen is near square.
If you go 4:3 you will be projecting more much pixels than your current 16:9 aspect ratio ( which is projecting a lot of pixels as black bars ). Any easy thing for you to test and see which you prefer -> my money is on 4:3.
