sim done , projector question ...

everything is new except projector . Its a short throw , and I cant get the image very clear (cant read any numbers / words on the screen) --could before my friend messed with the computer (lol) --my question is , how do you know exactly how far away from the impact screen to mount the projector to the ceiling ? there's got to be a formula or something ? I am thinking , that's the first step in all this projecting a nice image .. the Projector is probably a cheap unit , but I know it can be somewhat better as is already was once ..Its very light/faded looking now , best viewed in the dark .... hard to see in garage during the day even with doors closed ....the unit is a QKK ,, model QK02 mini projector . it only has focus and keystone (no zoom ) ...my screen is 120" x 89" so aspect ratio of 1.35-1


someone please advise , so I can at least get the projector mounted in correct spot , then we'll go from there

Zoom out , choose the aspect ratio, move camera to fill screen ,turn the focus ring to focus.

bob , no zoom ... hate to sound dumb , but where do i choose the aspect ratio , ?

Aspect ratio would be in the menu settings. I'm assuming there should be a focus dial on it. Sounds like it's out of focus.

Alky , it has a focus ring , I messed with it Forever , I moved the projector back till it filled he screen up and down , and got it focused fairly decent . I think its just a real cheap projecotr .. I'll look for a new one , that's has good reviews , that wont break the bank .. Thanks to you and Bob , for the help ...
