  • Benq LK936ST - Display Port not working.

Newly purchased BENQ LK936ST works on HDMI, however, for the life of me, I cannot get the Display Port to work.

Tested the cable and output port/s to other monitors without issue.

It seems my computer recognises its existence, yet the projector says no signal.
(Computer is brand new Intel i9 with 4080 super card. and displaying no problems to a Dell monitor using any DP port)

Is it possible the BENQ is faulty out of the box, or am I missing something? A setting?

Spent hours on it, trying to figure out if I have to go to BENQ support.

Note: enjoying finally using 4 month-long build of new Sim and happy for now using HDMI. Yet keen to get to the bottom of this issue.

Have you tried doing the following:

    Switching input signal

The projector can be connected to multiple devices at the same time. However, it can only display one full screen at a time. When starting up, the projector automatically searches for the available signals.

Be sure the Advanced menu - Display > Auto Source Search menu is On if you want the projector to automatically search for the signals.

To manually select the source: 1. Press SOURCE. A source selection bar appears. 2. Press / until your desired signal is selected and press OK. Once detected, the selected source information will appear at the corner of the screen for seconds. If there is multiple equipment connected to the projector, repeat steps 1-2 to search for another signal.

That's on page 24 of the User Manual: https://esupportdownload.benq.com/es...1204133030.pdf

I have one, it works fine when selecting the DP input.

Thanks, although these are the basics that i have ticked many times in the hours spent trouble shooting.

Did you double check that the refresh rate was correct on the dp you were using on the pc. Mine for some odd reason moved to 30 and it would not detect the source.
