I just want to check something before I order a new projector...
My sim projector is on a bracket on the ceiling. There's not much room for it to move, as I have a bike on the ceiling right behind it. It could move a couple of inches, but that's about it.
I currently have a Benq TH682ST projector in place - which according to the datasheet has a throw ratio of 0.69 - 0.76. I assume there are 2 numbers as it has a small zoom (1.1)?
I'm looking at purchasing the new Benq TK710STI to upgrade to 4K. This has a throw ratio of 0.69 - 0.83, and a 1.2 zoom.
The new projector would have a larger scope for zoom on it - so am I correct in assuming that I can just attach it to the existing bracket, adjust the zoom / focus, and that'll be that?
I think I'm right, but don't want to order this and then have to move stuff around! Can anyone with better projector knowledge confirm?
TIA 👍
