My BenQ TH671ST had a mishap a few months ago, (club strike, not the 1st time) Bulb was out, I ordered new bulb, replaced and the lamp lit for 15 seconds and out it went, so scrapped it and have been playing without the projector for some time now. I decided yesterday to look into something new, I was shopping on Ebay, this Trulite TH21 popped up. Not very much info out there on this! They are claiming its a 8K 8000 lumen, 0.8 short throw ratio. The throw ratio is the same as the BenQ TH671ST, more than double the lumens and laser besides! 11,000 list price for commercial / residential 60 to 300" screens. Found some in price ranges from 6000, to 3500 to less than 1000! I also happened to find a used, refurbished with 1 year warranty for 250! so I ordered it. Should be delivered this week, so I will be awaiting the package. 250 isn't the end of the worls, and has 30 day return policy, so if it doesn't work out I can just return, but if it does I'll be a happy camper. But its one of those to good to be true deals!

got the projector today, got it up, its working. I guess at this point I'm satisfied. I am only in it for 260, so I can't complain to much! My original BenQ TH671ST was mounted about 8' closer to the screen! I like thats its farther back, but I think I'm losing alot of the display being 20' from the screen. When I tried to set it up, I started on top of a 8' ladder about the same distance from the screen as the BenQ, set for 4 X 3. I tried to use the set up by getting the height correct, then using the Navidia to widen the picture, but this projector pops up with a screen and the Navidia won't let me adjust! I'm wan NO computer guru so I might be able to get things better, but I will have to look for someone who is LOTS more computer savvy than I. But like I said its back up and working, pretty happy, and only 260 bucks I'm at least 1000 ahead if I would have selected a different projector. Mine came with ceiling mount, but I used my Crimisom from my BenQ, it worked out better than the ceiling mount that was provided with the projector. Its a laser so so thats a plus no bulb. I'll be looking for someone to see if they can tweek this even if I have to remount and move closer to the screen.Comment

Oooh, I wish you had posted this before deciding to buy this projector. Glad the projector is working out for you, just don't get too emotionally attached to it. But I will give you my lengthy two cents.
Ever heard of White Van projectors? Google it. Other White Van projectors that are sold this way (to good to be true) that are "8K", "commercial grade", with lumens in the high thousands, and retail for $5, $10, or even $15k (the MSRP is right on the box): BrightEra (not to be confused with Sony's legitimate model by the same name), Lunara or Lunar One, ProBeam (again not be confused with LG's legitimate model by the same name), and E Vision (knock-off from a legit higher end Digital Protection brand product). Sometimes they will even bundled it with a nice projector screen and a tripod or mount to give you a nice deal. Interestingly even their websites look eerily the same. Unfortunately these projectors are now also popping up on Ebay, Mercari, Craiglist, and Amazon and many times still offered at highly inflated prices for what they are truly worth. But sellers emphasize to potential buyers that despite the projector's high MSRP, the highly inflated discounted price they are offering at is justified because these are high end projectors.
The truth is that this projector is junk compared to your now dead BenQ. It is not 8K or even 4K. 8K projectors don't exist. It may not even be a 1080P projector. While it claims that it contains 8,000 lumens of brightness, legit 8,000 or greater lumen projectors are super high end and are only made by major manufacturers like Sony, JVC, and Panasonic. This projector's 8,000 lumens (or what I call Chinese lumens) are not the same as 8,000 ISO ANSI lumens which is the industry standard for measuring the brightness of projectors. Many cheap Chinese projector manufacturers often only use the term "lumens" to describe the projectors brightness. So these 8,000 Chinese lumens could be anything, but if the product's user/product guide or specification sheet does not indicate 8,000 ANSI or ISO lumens then it is not 8,000 ANSI lumens. If I had to take a guess as to your projector's actual ANSI lumen rating, it is probably somewhere between 250 and 500. Compared that your now dead BenQ TH671ST that is rated at 3,000 ANSI lumens. Only reputable projector manufacturers, i.e. BenQ, Epson, JVC, Sony, etc, will state actual ISO ANSI lumens when offering their products.
I am not surprise the actual throw ratio is longer even though it's advertised as having a similar (short) throw ratio to the BenQ TH671ST. The fact that it has to sit a lot further back to achieve the same screen size as the BenQ TH671ST is not indicative of a short throw projector. Short throw projectors are generally pricier and nearly all cheap Chinese projectors have standard and even longer throws. Again, this is another false claim that is indicated on the projector's packaging. I also know that low input lag is important for golf simulators and gaming in general yet there is no specification information on that very critical feature anywhere. On the product's packaging you see that it states that it is Golf Simulator ready. But it is not back-up with any input lag information. Where do you get that information to verify that it has low input lag. It is omitted because high input lag is attributed to nearly all low quality Chinese projectors. You need specific processing power to handle gaming inputs. Their fake website offers no customer support, very little or vague product information, fake reviews, and no contact information (same for other projectors that I mentioned before). So it is not like you can pick up the phone and get setup help or get more product information.
If you have 30 days to return it, return it for the simple fact that the specs are false and the product is a generic rebrand of something else. Look up the ProBeam BU70QGA (not the legit LG product). Looks just like the TruLite TL21 or vice versa. You can get used BenQ's, Epson's, or Optoma's (I have recently seen some older Optoma GT series gaming projectors on Ebay for around $500) that will be more reliable, provide more robust hardware compatibility, and will probably last longer than this Trulite/ProBeam projector.Comment

ek, Thank you for your input! Everything you said in your post seems accurate! I am only into this for 260 so I think I'm just going to chalk it up to experience and ride it till it falls from the ceiling! I do have some inquires out for a computer AV guy to come take a look, possibly they can get this to work out better than what its doing now! in my opinion right now the picture is as good as my BenQ, they only thing is being back so far I'm getting a shadow in the bottom of the screen, I can live with that. If I can somehow figure out how to get it even 2 feet closer, I think it will even be better than the BenQ. There is another guy on a different golf platform that also purchased the same unit, I have not heard how his installation has gone. I will copy and paste your reply to me to him, he spent 700 on his so he my opt to send back. Again Thank you for your information! Thats what makes these forum so damn valuable!
