  • 65 in Flatscreen vs projector

I have spent many years in home theater forums and built a a top notch theater. I am wondering if using a 65 inch Lcd Flatscreen in a fully lit room hitting into a net wouldn't be as good an experience as being in a darkened room with a projector. My feeling is that no matter how good your projector you can't compete with a flat screen unless there is very little light in the room. And with a monitor you can view the 1080p courses with all the resolution. Just looking for opinions. Once you know the distance you shouldn't be lifting your head in the golf swing, it might actually help golfers to stay looking at the ball when hitting it.

    Thanks Joey

Since Home Golf Simulation is a fairly new industry there is a lot of new ideas yet to be realized. I just contacted a local shade company and I will be bringing them some impact screen material to see if they can make me a custom blind with the material. Hopefully there will be an impact material that is not too thick and I can make it work this way. If it works this could make a great option for folks that want dual purpose rooms or just want the screen hidden when not in use. Pretty excited about this solution.
