Acer H5380BD On Sale $299

Yesterday Amazon had the Acer H5380BD on sale for $299...so I purchased it (can still be returned if need be). I realize a short throw would be better than the 1.55-1.7 this one has, but constrained by a $1,000 budget for total golf sim. I am planning on using one bay of my two car garage, therefore my dimensions are 10'W x 20'L x 9'H. My thoughts for my setup...please feel free to give me feedback. Optishot 2, OPTI3660 Golf mat, UTP1260 Putting Green, Acer H5380BD projector ceiling mounted, 25' HDMI to my Macbook Air. Now the biggest issue I am having...I am not opposed to hitting foam or wiffle golf balls as I am in my garage that still has to have a vehicle on the other side...so should I get an impact screen, pull down projector screen, floor up projector screen, painters tarp, etc and what size is reasonable with this setup and should I get 4:3, 16:9?

I really appreciate any knowledge you can impart...I'm kind of at a loss. Thanks guys!
