right now I have a projector that is set at 18' for screen and am wanting to move to the optoma 1080 or ben q 2050 or 1085. the reason I am switching is the pixels are very visible with pushing 18 feet out feels like a 480 at best thinking that if I go to a short throw that the pixel count and clarity will increase. so here is my situation I need to be 6 feet to mostly fill the screen. with no zoom capability where it goes is where it goes, I have a protee with the putting sensor which is taking up that floor install space and the light is right above it, so my question is this, for me to install a optoma 1080 with the protee what have others done please help on this I might have to go to the ben q 1085 instead which is a good unit but have heard nothing but raves for the optoma. the 1085 goes back to 10 feet to fill the screen in which I can ceiling mount. I would rather go with the optoma if someone can help me figure this out it would be appreciated

Hey man, I bought a Optoma HD28DSE darbee (couldn't pass on the deal), wondering if you still have your projector mounted at 18'? Projector central says I should have it mounted 13" above edge of screen. The image will be 140"(11.67') x 79"(6.583') @18' away.
Question, when shooting are you in the way causing shadows on the screen?
I'm assuming the image should start around 1' from floor + 6.583' screen size +13" offset= 8.67' and I'm 6'2" and stance mat is around 3" high. A little worried that I'll be in the way.
Any advise would be helpful.
Thanks!
