    Optoma hd36

Could somebody please advise me on whether the optoma hd36 is a decent projector for gc2 and fsx. I have no clue on these types of things but I can get this from Costco at a reasonable price. I will probably be using 4:3 ratio
    Thanks

I have an Optoma that I bought 3 years ago on tigerdirect.com. I don't know the exact model but I'm sure it's inferior to the one your considering since it's 3 yrs later. mine is still going strong no bulb replacement as of yet shows a really good picture. I'm happy with it and when I need a new projector in the future or plan to upgrade I'd definitely consider another Optoma. Make are to check the lumens. The higher the number the brighter the picture. If it's over 5000 lumens your in great shape.. Good luck.

Not yet as apparently it's better to get lens shift as well for fitting. The one I was looking at seems to have the spec but it's £700 (uk)
