    Benq1085ST for $1450 Canadian ( $1100 USD) is a solid price?

    Hey all,

Been creeping on here for a couple year. Ended up getting a Skytrack and have a PC all ready to go. Seems like everyone really likes the Benq1085ST. I found on in canada here for $1450 CAN ($1100 USD). Safe to say thats a pretty fair price?

There is a used one on ebay right now with under 50 hours. It is at $405 US with 20 mins to go.

I believe the 1085ST has been replaced by the 2150ST, so you might search for that if you are looking at new ones.

I just purchased a 2150st on Amazon for $999(US). Thing is awesome! Great to move into living room and watch movies too.

Good to hear. I have been back and forth. That seems like an ok price. I wont be using it for any movies and am probabaly going with a superplex screen so im not sure IF I need this over say a Optima 1080 or something.
Got a i7 GTX 970 computer lined up for TGC. Skytrak came yesterday.

Second the 2150ST, it's the new & improved version of the 1085ST. A cinch to setup, very bright and excellent quality for home theater.

Posted a few pics in thread below:

Hey, sorry to piggy back on your thread Mike... but I'm in the same boat. Trying to figure out which projector to buy. I have a foresight gc2 and fsx software on the way. Will have 10' from projector to screen(Carl's premium). I noticed in a lot of pictures the room is dark with just a light on the ball. I plan on adding swing cameras for practice and plan on using sim with hitting area well lit. Would the Benq2150 be bright enough? I'm ok spending a little more to get the right projector.
