Selling brand new Ernest ES16

I am going to post this here first to see if there is any interest. Otherwise I will be posting to eBay within a couple weeks.

I have a brand new (unopened) ES16, straight from Ernest Sports. I am looking to sell this as I need to free up some money on a credit card. It was a bit of an impulse buy for me. I will work with the seller on price. The current special rate direct from ernest is $5450. I am willing to come in lower and will accept the best offer within reason. I am not looking to profit on this unit, either break even, or only lose a little.

Shipping and Insurance would be included in the final price. I will work with Ernest to transfer any ownership of the device to the new owner. I will contact them prior to any final sale and make sure all parties are clear.

EDIT: I will check with Ernest next week regarding the transfer of warranty, which should be a year from 2/10/17.

I wish i could help you out, the ES16 is a unit I have on my wishlist as a simulator upgrade. But it would be a similar situation of an impulse buy on my part and would leave me a bit stretched. Definitely will find a buyer, likely easier if ppl are really that upset w/ Skytrak's fee change. If your gonna take a loss on it, might as well use it in my opinion. it'd be hard for me not to but then again might get hooked.

Update from Ernest regarding Warranty and Transfer of ownership:

Warranty:

They will honor the 1 year manufacturer warranty to whomever purchases the device. The 1 year warranty started when it was shipped to me, so the manufacturer warranty would expire on 2/8/18

Also, the new owner can purchase ESCare if they purchase it right after receiving the device from me. ESCare protects you if the unit becomes accidentally damaged or broken, they would also provide a demo ES16 while the unit is being assessed and repaired.


Transfer of Ownership:

There is nothing special here, there are no fees for transferring. They recommended the new owner get in touch with Ernest. Quote "We want to make sure they have all they need to set up the unit, and we will need their contact info to send product updates, etc."
