gene438, don't need the screen, but I'll give you a bump to the top with a question....

Did you get a new projector and if so which one ??? Looks like your going from 4:3 to 16:9/10.

gene438 , very interested to hear how you like the new screen. I have the same projector and have the smaller screen in 4:3 now. Also curious if you stayed with Carl's for the screen or got on the "direct from the mill" bandwagon. Ultimately, I'd like to end up using 16:9 but curious if you found the change worth it.

Hey peesh, I am more than overjoyed with the upgrade I need. Going from 10 x10 to the 17 x 10 changes the whole experience and room for me. I really wanted to move away from the "batting cage" feel and wanted a wall to wall screen for both golf and movies. Mine came out better than I hoped. I got the screen "direct from mill" and that save me over $1000 so if he does it again, you need to participate ( I will buy a backup just because the price/meterial is so good)

Bottom line, if you want to move out of the cage, the move is difintely worth it. You can see my screen in action here: https://youtu.be/8-FGAvl3Uqk
