Since I just received and installed the second batch, I have no need for both of them. This is the first gen direct from mill screen in 12 x 10. It's in excellent condition, there is a small stain about 4" from the bottom and 24" from the side. This is how i received it originally. Price is $225 and you must provide the shipping label. I already have it boxed up and ready to go, it's 14.5 lbs and box size is 16 x 13 x 10. It will ship from Livonia MI 48154. First to send paypal get it. See pics, first one is as it was hung, then a pic of the stain and laid out on ground. Paypal is wbond@lear.com

Hey wbond,
I too got the 1st gen and the 2nd gen as a backup. I have not unboxed the 2nd gen as I really have no need of it right now. My first gen screen is still going strong, but, I was wondering your thoughts on how the 2nd gen compares to the 1st since you have obviously decided to go with the 2nd gen.
So, how does the 2nd compare to 1st?

Hey Wbond, sorry to go off topic in your thread but what are you using on the sides and top ofmthe screen to give it that finished look? I ordered a raw SQ screen from par2pro and was wondering how to make it look finished.

Originally i was using a 27" wide vinyl runner that you buy by the foot from HD. It was easy to cut and gave it a nice look for really cheap. However, it is not good as it leaves a mark on the ball and then you can't use it since it would probably leave smudges on the screen. It also leaves a mark on the vinyl.
The one good thing about changing over is I switched to this from menards. https://www.menards.com/main/floorin...4331693&ipos=5
I bought it in the length i needed and then cut three strips from it. I wrapped velcro around my EMT poles and it holds really well. It's about 1/4" thick and looks way better. It's not shiny like the vinyl either.

I used these for mine. They were awesome because they are naturally the soft part of a Velcro system. I cut a 3in strip off these and glued to my screen and then glued the hook Velcro to the back of them and attached. It made it so they were basically one with the screen with no bubbles. Down the road if I get a new screen.........glue strips to that screen and just reattach the border. "Should" be easy. SHOULD........ lol
