Considering Selling System

Trying to figure out a fair value for my simulator. Here is what I have:

-GC2a
-Protective Shield
-Metal Housing Shield
-Protee with TGC
-E6 with most courses and Pebble Beach pack
-27in touch screen 1080p monitor
-PC tower with a Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card
-Short Throw Projector MW632ST

Everything was purchased new. I have owned the system for 24 months. Thoughts on what the package is worth? I was thinking that 10k would be a fair value for all components.

Personally I think you might have better luck selling off the pieces individually instead of as a complete package.

But then I'm very biased as I'm only interested in finding a GC2 :-)

I tend to agree with StuartG . I think the problem you are going to run into is that most people will either want TGC or E6, not both. But it just takes one person who is interested to get a sale. Breaking it down by item, I would say based on what I have seen stuff actually sell for on here and on ebay as opposed to what people try to sell it for
GC2a: $4300
Shield: $50
Metal housing shield: $150
Protee with TGC: $600
E6: ???
Monitor and PC: $1000
Projector: $350

So that puts you around $6500 for everything without E6. There was someone on here selling E6 1.6 with 1-5 and Pebble Beach. He was asking $2600 but didn't sell for a few weeks, so I'm guessing someone offered him less.

Keep in mind that if you sell it on ebay you will get hit with a 10% fee + paypal fees (just under 3%) which would be around $1k

Ebay is a great source for current "going" rates for used items. You can search just the listings that actually sold.

Just realize that, with golf sim specific sales, prices tend to be lower in the spring and summer than they do late fall and winter.

If you do decide to part it out - What model is your monitor and what would you want for it?

Does the E6 use the same Protee interface you have set up with TGC?
If so, what would you be asking for the Protee/E6/TGC combo?

Parting out makes sense, thanks for the help. E6 does use the same interface (GSX) to work with the GC2.

I will have to check on the monitor when I get home later today. I don’t remember what I brand and model it is. Also the pc by it’s self not including the monitor would be worth 1k. The graphics card alone is worth $350 used. All the other prices seem fair to me that you mentioned. For e6 the only course pack I don’t have is pack 3. The rest of them I have. Buying it from them would cost over $3000. I think 2.5k is a more than fair price for it.

E6 connect at the moment does not currently work with Protee and will not be available for a long time according to Trugolf directly. They have told me that they have other systems that are priority over Protee and are not sure when they will get to integrating it. That also assumes that the integration would even work with the GC2 as well. So if you want something other than FSX for your GC2 it is either Protee/TGC with its limited options of game play and multiple tees or E6 1.6. My prefernce has always been E6 due to its great flexibility.
