  • For Sale: For Sale - Skytrak - FMJ - Game Improvement Package & JNPG

Looking to sell my less than a year old SkyTrak unit (purchased December '18). Includes unit ($1,995 new), game improvement plan ($100 new; access through 12/9/18), and FMJ ($150 new); $2,245 value. I bought the unit new direct from SkyTrak and it has performed admirably ever since. The unit was exclusively used indoors and I never encountered any connectivity issues through wifi or USB. Minimal no-reads. USB cord, manuals, and original box will also be included along with the little leveling bubble on the FMJ.

As many of you know, JNPG is no longer available to new SkyTrak owners (as of 6/15/18), but existing members are grandfathered-in and will be able to renew their licenses indefinitely. My current JNPG license goes through 12/9/18 ($249/year) but am willing to include the associated STEAM account in this sale to enable the new owner to extend access to this awesome simulation software package!

    Asking:
    * $1,500 for the package (excluding JNPG / STEAM)
    * $1,650 for the package (including JNPG / STEAM)

Reason for sale is that my little home sim as morphed into a quasi-commercial enterprise so I bit the bullet and converted to Foresight's launch monitors. If anyone knows someone who is in the market, please give them my info or pm me. Thanks.

Would you be willing, or even capable, of selling JNPG on it's own? I'd love to be able to get a copy back but wasn't sure if it had to remain tied to the original unit.

I believe my JNPG access is paired to my SkyTrak unit (but I'm not actually sure...?). In any event, I want to keep this is a package deal for the time being. If someone wants to purchase my unit w/o my JNPG access then I will consider selling my access separately (if possible).

I believe that skytrak ties the subscription to the skytrak for all sim options. I don’t think you can separate any of them.

I was thinking the same thing.

I actually watched their video on TGC vs JNPG and choose TGC.

Purchased the unit in 2017, correct ? It’s still October 2018.

What is the story with the future of JNPG, and why are they disassociating with SkyTrak?

In a nutshell: Trackman recently bought Perfect Parallel who make JNPG and from what we can tell it was Trackman's call to boot Skytrak from the platform. All Skytrak simulation passes had to be bought through Skycaddie rather than directly in the game so presumably Skycaddie were taking a cut which Trackman weren't happy with. Existing Skytrak simulation pass owners can renew indefinitely but no new Skytrak passes are now available - and since the sim pass is tied to the Skytrak unit itself, you can't use a brand new Skytrak on JNPG.

There is supposed to be a JNPG2 in the works but nobody knows right now which launch monitors it will support (if any) apart from Trackman

GarageGolfMN: I sent you a PM saying that I would like to buy all if still available. I can give you a UPS shipping number if helpful.
                  Thanks!
