I just received the SQ screen and have it attached works great! Highly recommend The Sport Screen. One last step is the ceiling protection I neglected to plan. 14’ Screen so was planning maybe 14 x 7 protection. Would mesh tarp be my best best? Thanks in advance for any recs.

I got mine mounted today too... I could not put one of the mounts into a ceiling joist as it ended up right between two of them so I used 4 Pop Toggle 85lbs drywall inserts. I was worried they would just pull right out but they have not budged at all so far (I gave a few hard tugs as I would rather it pull out as I was up there to catch it if it did). I also did as wbond suggested and wrapped the extra screen back around and that is working out great too (So no cutting anything and will be using 13'3" wide). Now tomorrow I have to get some ceiling protection up and go to Harbor Freight to get my side barriers (mesh tarps). Phish828 THANK YOU! for letting us know about this deal... looks 1000 times better than my old set up with EMT!!

I've finally written my V3 thread - which uses a SportScreen. It explains how I've attached my screen / ceiling protection etc, so might be useful for those looking for info?
I’ve been golfing in my garage for a little over 4 and a half years. In this time I’ve been continually evolving my setup - with this being the third “restart”. I have 2 other build threads kicking about on this site. My V2 build thread can be found here: https://golfsimulatorforum.com/forum/build-your

wbond here are the pics of mine so far. Will try to get better pics these do not provide much detail. Ceiling (12x10) and side protection (10x8) with the Harbor Freight black mesh tarps you recommended. Ceiling copied from p3eps design heck might as well say side protection copied from his V1 design too...

In case anyone bought the manual sportscreen on sale and wants to upgrade to motorized, I bought an Aleko DM45R tubular motor and it works great with a 10 foot screen with the direct from the mill screen velcroed to the black net. I got one on ebay for $70 and it looks like the price on amazon fluctuates from $100-120. I should have taken pictures but most of it is fairly obvious. You need a couple extra bolts to attach the motor's bracket to the mounting bracket. And the plastic piece that slides in the end of the tube that comes with the motor is shorter, so you have to drill some extra holes closer to the end and use shorter screws to hold it in place. But it's half the price of getting the motor conversion kit from sportscreen. For under $150 (plus the screen which I already had), I'm really happy with how it turned out
