  • Want to Buy: Foresight GC2 Flash or Superflash

    Hi,

I am new to the forum. I just bought a used Foresight GC2 from a local golf academy. Used it today and it missed 4-5 shots out of 15 shots. Some of them are just --- "dashes". I guess the flash is due to change.

Anybody in here is selling new aftermarket/modified/refurbished flash or superflash for GC2? or maybe unused original spare flash? Willing to send to Indonesia?

When you read Indonesia you might think scam, but I can assure the seller I have Paypal account and make sure receive the money before sending the goods.
I just want to know some other options than buying official flash from Foresight Singapore which is 500 USD.

I have read some of the guys here do sell GC2 flash.

    Cheers

Do you have a case on the GC2? Sometimes if the cameras are partially blocked, you will get that reading. Take the shield off and make sure it is fully opened prior to hitting. Do you hear or see the flash taking place?

That's what I was going to say I have a aftermarket case and I think it blocks my low shots at times

Other things to check are that the camera lenses are clean and that the foot in the front is all the way down. If you have white shoes, it's worth trying different shoes as well. And I have heard that chrome wedges can cause issues with reflections off the hosel. If none of that works, I have been selling aftermarket flashes for over two years. Fedex shipping to Indonesia which should be 3-5 days would add $40, so the total would be $190 USD. Here's the thread with more info if you are interested. https://golfsimulatorforum.com/forum...-gc2-megaflash

      >>> I don't have the metal case on the unit when I tried it yesterday. I didn't know that I can hear or see the flash, is it difficult to see/hear when you are hitting the ball?

      >>> Andy, I will try to use my black shoes today.... also can you please confirm, do I send the payment to gc2flash@gmail.com via Paypal? The serial number on the unit is A8210 with Hw Rev. 3, so your Megaflash should work right?

Yes you can send payment with PayPal and your GC2 is new enough that there should not be any issues.

I tried to hit some balls again in my backyard with the GC2 this evening. I have a fluorescent light just above me, I wear black shoes, I put some cardboard around 3 foot high x 7 foot wide behind me so that the unit doesn't pick up any white things behind me. I don't use the metal case.

Result is the same... maybe from 20 shots, it just picked up 10 or even less..

This time I can see the flash because it's dark. However, when the unit picked up a shot seems like the flash shines brighter. When it didn't pick up a shot, flash seems not as bright. I don't know if it is just my feeling, or it is a flash breaking down. Do you guys have any experience regarding this? Is this true when the flash fails it is not as bright when you hit the ball?
