  • Protee system for sale

I thought about selling once before, but wasn't very motivated. I'm a bit more motivated now:

    The latest is this:
Protee 2.0 software with 100+ courses
Sensor board with Fiberbuilt turf (original)
Divot Action protective cover system for sensor board
All-skills divot action mat insert (regular mat for sensor pad)
Template I made for other manufacturers to make me a new mat (currently working with manufacturer of CCE mats to make me a new cover. Once that is a Country Club Elite mat and one that is a slightly slimmer mat to see which I like.
TWO high speed cameras (1 for horizontal and 1 for vertical), both with upgraded M12 lenses, mounts, and protective case for the vertical cam and cables for each
Multiple lights with different bulbs (I have a few that I tried to find the best or me.
One black mesh side curtain and track (give protection and also helps the horizontal camera read the ball (my walls are and need to stay white).

5'x5' lightweight hitting platform with cutout for sensor board and cutout for a divot action practice board, or if you want to save on shipping, I can give you easy to follow instructions to build your own and supply 5x5 turf with cutouts (remove the platform).

$3,000 is a steal for all the above. Retail is:
$3k for Protee base pack, $500 for add'l camera, $300 for Protee Divot Action system, cost of 5x5 turf?, Protee sensor template?, side curtain and track $300, extra light (I found it helps with the camera). My assistance with your setup and planning $priceless!

I'm in Northern California and I have a corporate discount for UPS if you need it shipped. PM me if interested and I'll get a shipping quote.

I will not break up the package unless I find buyers for each of the parts together. I also have the TGC software, but I'm holding on to that for now. I like the Protee software better, as I find the courses more realistic (I live near and play the Pebble Beach courses) and I like the driving range as well. Only keeping the TGC software because I may get something else that it will work with.

I am planning on keeping my screen and projector for home theater use, but could be persuaded to sell the screen; however, it is used and not perfect and the frame is very heavy. It is 12' x 9' screen with frame made from large metal conduit. I am happy to help you source the remaining things you will need (projector & HDMI cable, computer, screen...

Oops, I misquoted on the cost of the Protee system... It's much more than that, but I'll keep my price where it is.

I don't think I could ship the platform to Australia, but if you want everything without the platform I think shipping isn't in reasonable with my DHL account. I bet I could ship it between 200-400 with the turf rolled up. PM me if you'd be interested with an address and I'll find out for sure.

this is kind of off topic baller but what are you talking about for a divot action for the protee i looked this up and saw two sites where you can get this, but how does work in relation to the sensor mat if you have a pic of this that would be great, how does it work compared to what pro tee sells with there sensor package but just always researching.

The divot action idea is much better than the original mat, in my opinion. I feel it's more realistic and it also keeps dust off and protects the circuit board on the sensor pad. I do think the mat could be better and that's why I was working with the manufacturer of CCE mats to cut me a mat to replace the current one.

So, you unscrew the fiberbuilt mats (2 pieces), screw in a piece of plexiglass that has a hol over the microphone and a hole over the tee, and the new mat sits on top of that. It doesn't move because it is in your cutout. Here are some pics. One of the hitting surface ready to hit and one of the board with the mat off, and you can see the plexiglass and sensor board.

Thank you Baller that is pretty unique it is definitely worth the look at, way to be innovative on improving and customizing your simulator

One thing I have to say about the divot action idea is that it negatively affected my putting. When you put the plexiglass over the unit, I think it hurts the unit's ability to pickup sound. I had the hole perfectly aligned over the microphone and I played around with the microphone settings, but I could not get my unit to pick up soft hit putts. Obviously some putters are louder that others and I could have played with that...but, I did not want to change my putter. When I take the plexiglass off, I can putt as little as 2-3 feet. With the plexiglass on, I could not get a putt shorter than 8 foot to register......Just something to look out for.

I don't have any trouble putting, but I think I remember having to adjust the sound sensitivity for putts. Im pretty sure I had to set it all the way down. I also often just set it to gimme putts, since practicing putts on a sim will never be the same as real putting and I'm not using the sim to help my putting.

I've gotten interest, but no one has come through yet... FYI!

it's still available until someone pays for it.

Please close thread--sold, but I will miss my Protee. It has served me well.
